MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
SECTION 1. QUALIFICATIONS
* Membership to the organization shall be open to all persons who have attended a minimum of one semester at the University of the East (UE) or the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC), herein thereafter referred to as "UE Alumni".
* Qualifying members must have shown an active or vital interest in the alma mater, UE, UERMMMC, and this alumni organization.
* Membership requires payment of the Lifetime Initiation Membership Fee for a lifetime membership.
Submit the membership application form and Lifetime Initiation Membership Fee to the Membership Committee.
* Members, including institutional members, who have paid their annual membership fee in any of the previous years, beginning from the calendar year 2022 up to October 25, 2025, shall be recognized as lifetime members. To qualify for this status, it is required that the appropriate lifetime membership form be submitted for review, evaluation, and acceptance by the Membership Committee as appointed by the Board.
SECTION 2. CLASSIFICATIONS
Membership will be organized into four (4) distinct categories:
The Board of Directors may change the membership categories as they deem appropriate.
SECTION 3. MEMBERSHIP DUES
The Lifetime Initiation dues of the members are as follows:
The Board of Directors shall from time-to-time review and determine the Lifetime Initiation Membership Fee.
SECTION 4. SUSPENSION OR LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP STATUS
Any member of the organization may resign by giving notice in writing to the Board or to the Membership Committee.
Membership shall be suspended or terminated for the following reasons:

* Qualifying members must have shown an active or vital interest in the alma mater, UE, UERMMMC, and this alumni organization.

- Associate Member – a student presently enrolled at the UE and UERMMMC.
- Individual Member – a UE Alumni – as defined in Article VII, Section 1 in the Article of Incorporation.
- Institutional Members - an organized UE alumni groups, including fraternities, sororities, college groups, etc., which joined as a chapter organization with the UEAAA, represented by its the President or designated head.
- Honorary Members
The Board of Directors may change the membership categories as they deem appropriate.
SECTION 3. MEMBERSHIP DUES
The Lifetime Initiation dues of the members are as follows:
- Associate Members $ 5.00
- Individual Members $ 25.00
- Institutional Members $100.00
- Honorary None
The Board of Directors shall from time-to-time review and determine the Lifetime Initiation Membership Fee.
SECTION 4. SUSPENSION OR LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP STATUS
Any member of the organization may resign by giving notice in writing to the Board or to the Membership Committee.
Membership shall be suspended or terminated for the following reasons:
- If in the opinion of the two-thirds (2/3) majority of the Board of Directors, any Member has breached the rules of the organization or acted in an unethical or unprofessional manner in the conduct of business in the organization and/or conduct with any UEAAA member.
- Upon the court’s decision that he/she is of unsound mind, convicted of a felony, found by final order or judgment of any court to have breached a duty pursuant to the Corporation Code and/or Act of the law dealing with the standards of conduct.
- In case of expulsion or suspension, a Member shall have the right to appeal before the Board of Directors, either in person or by counsel.
